A dependable protector, then a different calling

Ferguson gave the Jets a decade of certainty at left tackle, starting every regular-season game from 2006 through 2015. His story continued after the helmet came off. Inspired by his mother and grandmother, both nurses, he completed a nursing degree at Jefferson in May 2025 and took a hospital job in New Jersey. The work changed, but his next chapter still centered on serving and protecting people.
