A legendary defender’s final chapter in New York

Lott spent the final two seasons of his playing career with the Jets, appearing in 31 games in 1993 and 1994. The hard-hitting defensive back had already won four Super Bowls with San Francisco. In New York, he passed 1,000 career tackles and made his final three interceptions, all during the 1993 season. His Canton recognition covers that whole career.
